Okay gang, let`s kick this thread off! What is everyone playing at the moment? I know the release of Skyrim has been keeping our X-Box humming! Also, the next installment in the Assassin`s Creed series comes out tomorrow. Anyone have plans on picking it up?

I'm going to have to wait until my birthday for Skyrm (drat all). Playing a bit of Bloodbowl Legends and Total War Napoleon. Has anyone started playing the new Batman Arkham City yet. I wish Marvel would bring something like this out. Looks very good.

I`ve not played the new Batman, but I`ve watched Toby Turner play it online. It looks really good! Darn, having to wait for Skyrim is a killer, Raven. What`s Bloodbowl Legends about? I`ve never heard of it before.

Watched a friend play Arkham city, looked good aside from both Gotham and Batman himself seeming quite bland (but to me they're usually quite bland anyway). Skyrim is taking up a bit of my time, started to stray from the main story and get more involved with just hanging out in the world.

I agree Dark, I find Batman pretty bland myself. Last night I got up to level 4 with my female Nord. Have yet to encounter my first dragon but I figure I`ll be playing this for ages since I tend to just meander about. I am as non-linear a gamer as you can find! =)

Everytime I hear a rumble I freak out that it could be a dragon, and i usually avoid fighting them since I don't have any new shouts to use their souls on.

Hi all. Bloodbowl is a fantasy footbal game created by the people who do Warhammer 40,000 and Fantasy Battle. The computer game of Bloodbowl allows you to field and run a team of vampires, men, dark elves, elves, ogres, goblins, orcs (and the list goes on - you can even play a team of hobbits!)
I suppose Batman is a bit two dimensional but I could see a similar game set for the likes of Spiderman or Daredevil in the city of Marvel New York which would be probably much better. Still graphically Batman looks really good.
I must admit when I was playing both Fallout and Oblivion I left the main quest until very late (which giving the leveling system of those games didn't bode well for the poor NPCs that accompanied me!)
So Feral is a Nord - makes sense as there are no dwarfs around as I now remember. What are the rest of you playing. I understand the class system is gone now.

I'm playing a Nord now, but also have Redguard and plans for a Wood Elf. usually I play as a Wood Elf, Nord, or Argonian, and usually I play all three more stealth based (which in the past never worked well with the Nord's race abilities).
I really like it now it isn't class based, since I no longer have to spend forever deciding between light armour or alchemy. I'm definitely a sneaker and I love my bow. Haven't used a lot of magic yet so I think I'll make my Bosmer more magic based.
So far the only companion I've taken is still alive and well (had a couple of scares, most recently with a zombie mage wielding a staff that made walls of fire). Since I'm so stealth based I need a good companion who can defend me with a battle-axe. Still curious as to how marriage works in the game since it was touted as a fairly big feature, at the moment I assume it's from a certain quest.

Ah, so Bloodbowl is a football game with otherwordly team players! Sounds purty cool Ser Raven, and right up your alley.
A well made and gritty Daredevil game would be neat. Something a little different!
Yep, I`m a Nord. Sadly there are no dwarves or I would have been one without question! I`ve never been a sneaker or bow user. I just charge in and start hacking. I`ve had to learn to block better in Skyrim than I had to in DA:O. I`ve not got any companions yet, but my daughter did, then lost her on a mountain somehow. I think that may come back to bite her, according to what she`s read, so if you get Lydia, make sure you don`t lose her.
The marriage thing is indeed related to a quest. You have to find a necklace of some sort and wear it. My daughter got the amulet and asked a girl but has yet to commit fully. Also, the loss of Lydia may hamper things with getting married she now tells me. She`s playing as a male Nord named Dag`r. My gals name is Yasdra, or something Norse sounding like that! =)

Ah, I thought so. And yeah I've been worried about losing Lydia, so a couple of times i sent her home. I'm currently playing what started as a version of Erna, but has come to develop into the main character from my new Lord of the Rings tale.
And one of my friends is a real charge in guy, while I usually stay back and take people out from a distance. Though somehow he usually ends up needing to save me.

Yep! Keep a close eye on Lydia. Has anyone got the new AC game yet? We`ve decided to let Ezio be a Xmas gift since neither one of us will put Skyrim down to play him. Maybe come January we`ll be able to give him the attention he deserves.

I'm not really sure on AC anymore, I really feel they should just finish the trilogy they started rather than all these detours. That being said Desmond is the blandest character I've ever seen so perhaps the detours are the better option. I've always been an Altair fan personally, could never quite buy Ezio's story.

It was always so hard to keep npc character's alive I was continually sending them back or asking them to cover me (and thenumber of times I got shot in the back or fireballed by my own team!) While I like the stealth mode (espceially when walking through the daemon planes, I preferred being up front, using defensive spells and p[oisoned weapons to help me out. Always was a lousy shot with a bow. I did get rather good at summoning Daedra to do a lot of my fighting for me as well.
B:AC has still not come out on PC so will have to wait and see how much. I understand it has some links to the previous game Arkham Asylum so there is some continuity.
